This beach is only marginally larger and equally as crowded, but the water there is also three shades of blue and you can easily swim to Cala Coticcio. It gives you an extra option of where to plonk your stuff down before diving into the blue.

Once you are there you can drive, cycle or take a bus to Caprera or ask to be dropped off near the Arbuticci fortress where you can also find the Memoriale di Giuseppe Garibaldi. From there starts a narrow path downhill, that leads you to Cala Coticcio.
