May 2, 2016 · No matter what I try, my normal template (in Word 2016) keeps changing back to Calibri 12 pt as default. My stock normal template (which has worked for years) is Arial 11 pt. This is set up in Word 2011. I have changed the normal style in 2016 to Arial 11 pt (and saved it) but if I open a new document, I get back Calibri 12 pt.
