Aug 28, 2013 · Hey, there’s Dominicans in Minnesota! There are other people who like playing dominos and can dance the merengue without going to dance classes for it. These photos are from the second annual Dominican picnic in Eagan’s Central Park on Saturday, August 24.

Sometimes referred to as the “Nashville Dominicans”, the sisters have as their specific end the Christian education of youth and other educational or charitable work undertaken by the congregation for the salvation of souls.

In a residential neighborhood of south Minneapolis, the Dominican community currently includes 3 parish pastors, 2 college chaplains and a seminary professor. For over a half-century the spirit of St. Dominic has touched the lives of the faithful in the Twin Cities.

May 15, 2006 · Sadly there is a lack of Dominicans and Dominican products in Minnesota, but we can make due with what we have until our next vacation to the east coast or to DR. I live in Eden Prairie, and I have found nice and big platanos in Shakopee at the Super Walmart, and they sell for 50 cents a piece!
