Jan 14, 2025 · @RanakiMcCormick If you've downloaded or restored any Sims 4 user content—saves, mods or cc, whatever—please move the Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, then try again to play. If this doesn't help or isn't relevant, please let me know whether OneDrive is active now, after the reset.

Wait five minutes, then open Sims 4 and start playing. Please leave the EA App in offline mode. Play until you see an fps drop, and a couple minutes after that, then quit the game and end logging.

Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.)

Dec 17, 2024 · When I go into the sims four and load a game that was played before with all the packs working, it says that all these packs I have installed are not installed and the sims needs to be restarted when in the Store section of the main menu in sims it shows the packs have been bought, but when you hover over them, it says "restart to use".

Dec 7, 2024 · Don't open anything other than Sims 4 and the EA App while testing, not even a browser window. If you get another crash, please look for new errors in the Reliability Monitor. Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day. Today is on the right.
