It's without question the most powerful console you can buy right now, and the enhanced games I've been able to play ahead of launch do look great and run much more smoothly than the standard PlayStation 5 can handle thanks to some upgraded hardware and impressive upscaling tech.

Nov 12, 2024 · One thing I'm noticing is that in my PS5 Pro, the game disc keeps spinning the entire time I'm playing the games hours on end, while in the fat PS5 (with the built-in disc drive), the disc will only spin for around 15 seconds when you start the game for verification purposes.

Dynamic Resolution Scaling (DRS) behavior is efficient and doesn’t necessarily need improvement. Technical Limitations: Older SDKs limit access to PS5 Pro hardware features, including advanced Ray-Tracing optimizations.
