Joel Hans Embiid (/ dʒoʊˈɛl ɛmˈbiːd / joh-EL em-BEED; [1][2] born 16 March 1994) is a Cameroonian-American [a] professional basketball player for the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
