Feb 21, 2012 · I've been working on the Aurora (King)Tiger for a while now and although it's a nice kit the Tamiya King Tiger also in 1/48 no doubt knocks spots off it. The Aurora kit does come with an apparently randomly-selected vacu-formed base, the design varying from box to box, and some are pretty poor.

Does anybody have experience kitbashing Grot Tanks? I want to field them but am not a big fan of the $132 price tag. I've been thinking about maybe using Myphitic Blighthaulers or Kataphrons but want to know if there are any other things that would be a better fit.

Jan 10, 2017 · It's pretty spot on for size, because the panzer 2 was a pretty small tank, so the upscale works well. A tiger tank at 1/35 scale will be massive compared to any normal 40k tank. You might want to look at a tiger at 1/56 scale.
