There is usually a smoke stack adjustment that controls the sound of these types of trains. My C type battery operated engine and tender car do not have power. Why is this? Make sure that you have fresh batteries installed properly in the tender car.

Jul 20, 2016 · I'm not familiar with the smoke units used by new bright but I would take and tip the engine upside down and let as much drain out as possible. It may take a little time (maybe even a day or few days or so) but the problem should correct itself, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Dec 2, 2022 · All you have to do is use the included dropper to put three or four small drops in the little tube that sits in the middle of the smokestack and give it a few minutes to soak in, and then it ought to start smoking when it gets hot as the train runs.

Jul 31, 2022 · I know yall probably hate them, I bought it because I remember my grandmother having one under her tree and it had the real smoke and loud bell/whistle noise and you could stop it or switch directions with the manual switch track.
