May 17, 2023 · 154 votes, 24 comments. true. day/night cycle and weather is still taken into account so, for optimum results: grab the nether bees that give nocturnal (ghostly) - put a dozen of them in fence posts with leads and leave them there for a few game days, until you get your first metaturnal. then grab it and breed with that bee in the breeder, squih the results for the gene.

Apr 6, 2020 · I accidentally punched one of my bees in my bee "breeder", and unfortunately some of them did sting me and die but most of them just stopped being angry after 1-2 minutes, maybe it was faster than usual because I was outside of my glass box where I keep them

Jan 4, 2020 · I too am experiencing mass bee loss. I dug out a much larger space and have rows of hives/nests back to back. There are campfires underneath but only a few spaces of .5 block height that some may have burned up but I have something like 45 fully populated hives. So that doesn't really explain all of them dying/vanishing.

Alright you then need to force a bee into it. To do this you first want to find a group of 3 bees, as that is the max that can be in one nest/hive. Bring 2 over to your base then simply breed them using flowers

Nov 15, 2021 · I've looked around, and I'm having trouble finding definitive information on how bee health works on the wiki, reddit, or miscellaneous websites. A lot of people have mentioned losing their bees to campfires, water, and other built-up damage over time.

Apr 19, 2024 · Right click or press U on the coarse dirt nest in JEI it will show you what item you need to use on it to attract a bee. I believe its just a regular honey treat and has a chance of spawning 1 of 3 bees. So you may need a couple nests. When you use the item on the nest for the first time it starts a 1200 second timer before a bee inhabits it.
