What is purpose of "Sweep" on a function generator
Apr 13, 2007 · I just bought my first function generator–a used Tektronix cfg250. Unfortunately, there was no manual of any kind. I'm primarily using it to feed a signal into parts of a circuit, then use a scope to see how the signal changes. But another part of the fg is Sweep (internal/external), Sweep rate and Sweep Width.
Sine function generator (VHDL) - Forum for Electronics
Dec 16, 2017 · To make sine function generator in VHDL we need two components: ROM memory width sinus table for one quarter; Compnent which is changing angle 10 bit (values 0 to 1023) to corresponding values of 8 bit adresses of ROM memory; Here are project sources files in VHDL (for FPGA Artix-7) - Xilinx Vivado2018.2. The main entity (top module) is ...

[SOLVED] - Basic function generator output voltage and …
Dec 6, 2013 · On an Agilent signal generator I used, that was precisely the purpose of the load impedance switch. For instance, you command the generator to output 1 Vrms. The generator will internally create the 1Vrms, which will go thru its internal 50 ohm series resistor, into the output connector and your load.
Could you purpose any IC for PWM generator ... - Forum for …
Jun 6, 2009 · XR2206 is an active Exar part and available from many catalog distributors. But sine oscillator or function generator with sine pulse shaper are of course options. A pulse shaper (as utilized in the said mononlithic function generators as well) has the advantage of not requiring an amplitude control loop with long settling time at low frequencies.
Problem with full wave rectifier when function generator is used as ...
Oct 15, 2005 · For instance you use a oscilloscope to check the full wave rectifier then the transformer isolates the earth/ground of the mains supply from the oscilloscpe earth/ground but in case of the function gen there is no such isolation: if you drive directly the diode bridge from the generator's output where one of the outputs is the earth/ground then ...

Jul 31, 2012 · With function generator set to maximum amplitude, 100 Ohm resistor load receives 47mA current with 5V rms across it (13.5V p-p). Last edited: Nov 23, 2017 Reactions: vikash23
How to use function generator to get 0-5V TTL signal
Jan 12, 2005 · Connect the inverting pin of opamp to ground, and the non-inverting pin to your function generator. Use 5 volts for the Vcc for opamp, and GND for the other power supply pin polarity. Use an LF357 maybe? (this opamp is relatively good, i think).
[SOLVED] - Function Generator Design - Forum for Electronics
Aug 11, 2011 · I have an assignment that I should design a function generator in pspice. It converts square wave to sine wave by using schmitt trigger and an intergrator. Firstly, I should take square wave output from schmitt trigger than convert it sine wave by integrator but I cannot do the design. Also, I should use LM158JG for opamps.
Function / Waveform Generator Design using op-amps
Nov 2, 2004 · Re: Function Generator Design Are you really restricted to op amps? The triangular and saw tooth can be done with discrete transistor current sources driving a cpacitor. The saw tooth sharp edge by a transistor discharging the capacitor. Then use the op amps for inversion, gain, and DC offsets.
