The Elephant’s Trunk Country Flea Market began in 1976. The first markets found aisles named after New York City streets or alley-ways. The market was always held on Sundays, and in 1976, the presence of fifteen vendors was considered a “big” day!

Jan 2, 2025 · August 5, 2023 was a great day at Elephant's Trunk Flea Market. Parking was free and very easy to get in and out. $3.00 entrance fee at 8:00am. Lots of different style vendors throughout the whole place. Some very pricey and others had great deals. For sure this is worth a visit every now and then. They could use more food truck selections.

If you want a day of treasure hunting go to The Elephant's Trunk. September is later in the season therefore the number of vendors is more limited but there are definitely plenty of them to shop. It is a big roomy flea market.
