Mar 11, 2016 · The one and only reason for the 20 inch barrel is to accommodate the extended mag tube. If you don't want to have an extended tube, use the 18.5 barrel. There's no "best of both worlds" here.

Dec 5, 2023 · If I remember correctly the breacher barrel is designed and uses the 590 type barrel and mag tube. To use the 500/ 18.5" barrel you will need to get a 500 mag tube. You have the cruiser stand-off barrel. They sent you a 500 breacher barrel style barrel.

May 10, 2020 · I can have a 24 inch 870 with a +6 extension, 20 inch 870 with a +4, or an 18 inch 870 with a +2 or some meme 30 inch boomstick with a +10. As far as I'm aware (and have seen reiterated often) there are no longer barrels for the extended mag tube.
