Oct 24, 2020 · Yes you can use the later Club Car forward and reverse switch on your 1982 model. On 1981 to 1985 Club Car DS models install the two wires that went to the rotor back on the rotor of the new switch. Move battery positive to the single right hand bus bar.

Feb 23, 2024 · The first switch is the Ant-Arcing micro switch. It's purpose is to remove voltage from the solenoid coil when you change directions. This keeps the F&R switch from creating an arc when the contacts come in contact with one another while you change directions. The 2nd switch is for the reverse buzzer. The 3rd switch is the half-speed reverse.
