Principal’s Message – Applecross Senior High School
Our goal at Applecross SHS is to encourage students to enjoy and value learning and achieve their potential. We aim to widen students’ horizons by presenting a diverse, relevant and contemporary curriculum that will prepare them to live and work in the 21 st century.
History – Applecross Senior High School
Applecross Senior High School had its genesis in the population explosion experienced in Western Australia during the 1950s. In 1957 construction commenced on the main body of the school referred to as the ‘H’ block.
Purpose Statement and Values – Applecross Senior High School
Applecross Senior High School supports students to achieve – now and into the future. The school’s motto “Achieve” is supported through our core values of Personal Best and Mutual Respect. Success for students means that they achieve their personal best in a climate of mutual respect and consideration for others.

Curriculum – Applecross Senior High School
Applecross offers a flexible curriculum for senior secondary school students intending to enter employment or further training to prepare students for the workforce upon leaving school. Opportunities to complete VET courses and Workplace Learning are available through the VET school’s VET programs.

All Applecross SHS students are required to purchase a device that meets the minimum requirements as stated in the BYOD Requirements document below. Devices that fall outside the minimum requirements will not be supported.
