Use the address checker on the page below, and post the results, but edit out your address details first, but leave the exchange name and cabinet number showing.

Dec 20, 2024 · Openreach has been letting people leave on VPL, Voluntary Leavers Packages and not replacing them. Thousands have already and Openreach want even more to leave over the next few years. They mostly use Contractors now from a variety of Companies but even they’re struggling to recruit enough people to cope with the amount of work.

Oct 26, 2024 · Re: Openreach appointments I don't have premium rate texts blocked. That said, I doubt OR would use premium rate texts as i have exchanged messages with an OR engineer who came last Saturday without any problem and similarly had no problems exchanging them with BT.

People keep reporting the Openreach and CP text numbers as spam, after a while they get flagged and blocked automatically by the mobile network providers. Openreach are aware of this and are trying to get it solved. If you need to change anything with your appointments, contact your provider and they can deal with it.

Nov 1, 2024 · I was initially expecting to be paying a hefty call out charge with it not being a BT or Openreach fault, but the original person I spoke to was very nice about it all, told me it would be free of charge, and booked an engineer for the next working day. BT customer service has exceeded all my expectationss.

Nov 23, 2024 · Ive just ordered new broadband from BT. In a text they tell me to turn on my openreach modem but my flat doesn't have one. Is this something I need? My current broadband just plugs into the phone line socket on the wall, without any openreach modem. Thanks
