The only two states that I would consider more or less 'Deep South' in their entireties are Louisiana and Mississippi (with the latter being the most quintessential of such a designation).

Oct 2, 2020 · The Florida Panhandle and North Florida are Deep South, including Jacksonville and Pensacola, Orlando and Tampa and the rest of Central Florida would be border south, and South Florida is non-Southern. I do put all of Louisiana in the Deep South despite the unique culture in New Orleans and Cajun country.
