Jun 9, 2013 · While looking over all the logistics of the two weapons side by side (as on Springfield's website) I noticed they are exactly the same. Would it be possible therefore to buy the .45, buy a 9mm barrel and slide, and have both? Obviously magazines too, but still.

One kit is the XDS Springs, Sear & NEW Disconnector Kit, which retails for 84.95 and the other is the PRP XDS Trigger Spring Kit with our NEW Disconnector, which retails for 38.95.

Aug 8, 2012 · The velocity of 230gr. bullets come out of the XDS just a very small amount slower than it would out of a 5" barrel. Just get standard pressure defense ammo and you're GTG. I like +P when it comes to lighter rounds like 9mm and .38spl, but for the bigger or heavier bullets (even some heavier 9mm & 38spl) standard pressure is fine.
