May 23, 2023 · Just swapped a replacement Kohler motor into my Ranger. I have the throttle screw backed out all the way....and the throttle cable is not holding it.....the throttle level is resting on the stop.....but the dash says 1700 RPM's at idle. Not sure how to adjust it any lower.
