Dec 28, 2013 · Good call, OP. The new PPK .22 is a piece of crap. You have to find a stout tree and hook up a winch in order to pull the trigger. My Bersa M23 is my go-to gun when introducing a new shooter to handguns. The Bersa Thunder line is simply a great set of pistols.

Oct 18, 2012 · The Bersa Thunder 22 is a very high quality .22 LR handgun that would make an excellent plinker or trainer for the Thunder 380, PP/PPK, or even the CZ 82/83 handguns. With the right ammo, the Bersa is incredibly reliable and has very mild recoil.

Nov 16, 2019 · The Bersa .22 Thunder is NOT that picky about the brand of ammunition as it is the grain of bullet being pushed out the pipe . I found mine will run well with most anything .22 lr thats pushing 40 grains of lead . Surprisingly Remington Thunderbolt runs like hell in it . …

Jan 10, 2025 · A Bersa Thunder .380 was the first handgun I bought when I turned 21 (it was really all I could afford, and .380 was "good enough"). I carried it for years (switching to a full sized 1911 during cold weather). I actually enjoyed shooting it more than the Walther PPK my grandpa had (Bersa was slightly longer, and had a larger beaver tail IRRC).

Sep 19, 2017 · We have both the Thunder 22 and Thunder 380. Good for the wife since she can practice with the 22 more and is able to comfortably operate/control the Thunder 380. The rear sight leaf of the Thunder 380 fell off and lost at the range. I called Bersa and they sent me replacement parts free of charge. Yg

Aug 29, 2022 · Both Ruger 10/22 rifles and the Bersa pistol hasn’t been cleaned since last year so it may have contributed towards feed issue. All 3 feed issue with 10/22 rifles occurred with same BX-25 magazine while other 3 BX-25 magazines did not have any feed issues.

Feb 19, 2019 · I picked-up this "pre-lock" Bersa Thunder 380 today for $125.00. It's import date was in Sept. of 2002. To be honest I did not know they even made a pre-lock under the Thunder 380 name. I thought they were all Firestorms. It's in very nice shape. It only came with the one OEM mag but I think I have a couple in my Drawer-O-Mags. Attached File ...

Aug 16, 2020 · I got my girl a Browning 1911 380acp Black Label pistol. Put some mother pearl pink grips on there for her. It's a great beginner gun. Oh don't want SAO. Yeah Walther PPK or Bersa or Sig P232 are all good choices for DA/SA. The Sig is simpler and prettier. The Walther is smaller. The Bersa has a slide lock control which is nice for clearing jams.
