Nov 5, 2022 · MOTU could have added those extra two DI channels but I’m guessing that going with built-in 5-pin MIDI jacks is a better use of the space. Perhaps there’s an M8 in the works. Bottom line for me: I like the AIR’s top mounted controls and having my Yamaha permanently hooked up to the DIs on Inputs 5/6.

Mar 25, 2008 · The digital signal from the optical outs of the 002R is getting into the 896. The programmable inputs on the Motu is picking up digital signals from the 002R (which took a while to sort out itself) and we see the signals on the VU's. However, we are having a very hard time getting the 8 optical inputs to go to the 8 analog outputs.

May 9, 2017 · There is a bug in the 624 IP setup. Every ip menu selection acts like the DHCP on/off. I called MOTU support and they confirmed the problem on their 624 and were escalating it to development. I set a static lease on my router as a workaround. I target OSC messages to the MOTU from my nanokontrol2 so I like having a static IP.

Jun 18, 2021 · I am experiencing super strange behavior with a MOTU 828x that I bought new. Every time I open the CueMix, it seems like the sample rate is playing up and down, over and over making so weird sound like old cassette, or even if I don't play anything, the interface generates some pops noises.

Jan 3, 2022 · The USB version of the 828mkII was a short lived product but MOTU''s response has been the company line for awhile now. Though unsupported, most older MOTU devices do work with current OS but you have to know where to find the latest drivers. For you and the rest of us with these units, it's the correct driver for the 828mk3 Hybrid.
