Truesdell is one of seven schools slated to be rebuilt if voters approve the Wichita school district’s bond proposal.

The district said it’s necessary to make classrooms bigger as schools transition away from lecture-style teaching.

The K-12 district has five elementary schools, two middle schools and two high schools.
