Ben Johnson was officially introduced as the new head coach of the Chicago Bears at Halas Hall on Wednesday. The former Lions offensive guru received a standing ovation with his family at the team facility and set the tone for what the new standard of Bears football will look like.

Former Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson has finally decided to take a head-coaching job. He is headed to the Chicago Bears and will presumably have a huge role in overseeing the development of soon-to-be sophomore quarterback Caleb Williams.

Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Poles called new coach Ben Johnson “a proven leader with winning pedigree and a mind toward innovation.”
