A number of Minnesota businesses have announced full or early closures on Monday in protest of President Donald Trump's recent immigration actions.

Numerous businesses across the United States, including Minnesota, will shut their doors Monday, workers will stay home and consumers are urged not to shop.

Ken Martin was elected the new chairman of the Democratic National Committee over the weekend, defeating Wisconsin Democratic Party chair Ben Wikler and former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley. Martin is perhaps best known for leading the state party in Minnesota.
