Stefan Bajcetic joined Red Bull Salzburg until after the Club World Cup in June with no January recall clause in the initial deal agreed last summer

Liverpool and Red Bull Salzburg have agreed to terminate Stefan Bajcetic’s loan spell with the Spanish midfielder set to join Las Palmas for the rest of the season. The former Celta Vigo youngster had been expected to stay at Salzburg until after the Club World Cup in June with no January recall clause in the initial deal agreed last summer.

A lot of the times, Bajcetic takes those shots from around 30-35 yards and they are quite often tame and hopeful efforts when Salzburg are frustrated against a low-block defence.

It is nearly two years since Bajcetic started for Liverpool against Real Madrid but he has found limited opportunities at Salzburg

The young midfielder’s time at RB Salzburg has gone poorly with the player pushing for a change in the second half of the season.
