Authorities are piecing together what led up to a truck getting submerged inside a Clear Lake golf course pond where a body was also uncovered.

The vehicle was discovered around 7 a.m. at the Bay Oaks Country Club, located at 14100 Bay Oaks Blvd. near Clear Lake, and police located the body around 9 a.m., an HPD social media post said.
