Edmonton Oilers forward Zach Hyman's exclusion from Team Canada's roster for the upcoming 4 Nations Face-Off tournament has sparked questions about the decision to leave the forward out.

Hyman and his family have officially purchased the OHL's Brantford Bulldogs from Ottawa Senators owner Michael Andlauer.

The OHL announced Monday they approved the transfer of ownership of Brantford to a group led by Hyman and his family, including his brother Spencer and father Stuart, from Michael Andlauer, whose purchase of the Ottawa Senators was approved by the NHL Board of Governors on Sept. 21, 2023.

The OHL says the new ownership group is pursuing a long-term lease agreement with the city that would include plans for a new arena.
