(AP) - The spate of recent aviation disasters and close calls have people worried about the safety of flying.

Flags will fly at half-staff across the state Tuesday to honor the Florida pilot who died last month when the American Airlines jet he was flying collided with a U.S. Army Blackhawk helicopter.
