A weekend shooting in Montgomery left a teen dead and a man injured. Police and medics responded at 8:26 p.m. Saturday to a report of two people shot in the 1200 block of Eastern Boulevard. Sgt. Tina McGriff said 17-year-old Jekobi Douglas was pronounced dead on the scene.

SAGINAW, MI — Saginaw police have identified a 17-year-old shot to death over the weekend. Jordan J. Morris and another 17-year-old male arrived at Covenant HealthCare about 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, suffering from gunshot wounds. The pair arrived by private vehicle, police said.

Police and fire medics went to responded to the 1200 block of Eastern Boulevard Saturday night in reference to two people shot, she said. They found Douglas, who was dead, she said. An adult male victim sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound and was transported to ahospital for treatment.

Investigators are identifying the minor who was shot and killed in a weekend double shooting in Montgomery as 17-year-old Jekobi Douglas, of Montgomery.
