A 22-year-old Sioux City man died after his vehicle crashed into a utility pole in Morningside and caught fire Friday night.

During its weekly meeting, the Sioux City Council is expected to be asked to formally approve a contract with Herbert Construction for the demolition of 615 and 625 Douglas St.
