A man who was shot and killed by a police officer in Pittsburgh's Hill District neighborhood Wednesday evening has been identified. Pittsburgh's Action News 4 video showed a large police presence at the scene on Devilliers Street between Wylie and Centre avenues, near the city's Zone 2 police station.

Allegheny County Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting incident in Pittsburgh’s Hill District. County dispatch said one person was transported from the scene near the intersection of Wylie Avenue and Develliers Street shortly after 5 p.

The Allegheny County Police Department says Pittsburgh Police were sent to the 100 block of Hyman Place after a security guard encountered an armed man while patrolling the Oak Hill Apartment Complex.
