TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - Connecting Toledo Neighborhoods to Opportunity is a multi-million-dollar project aimed at improving the city on a number of different levels. Its focus is projects in Uptown as well as some of the surrounding neighborhoods.

The levy passed, and in April 1975 the Toledo Metroparks acquired the land, along with the Manor House. It became the ninth Metropark, and nowadays there are 19 in total. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Wildwood’s founding, the Metroparks have a bunch of events planned throughout this year.
