BEAVERTON, Ore. (KATU) — Oregon’s latest multi-million-dollar Powerball winner has come forward to claim their prize. The first Powerball jackpot of 2025, valued at $328.5 million, was sold at the Fred Meyer store located at 15995 SW Walker Road in Beaverton on Jan. 17, according to an Oregon Lottery official.
Prizes vary from $4 for the matching the Powerball to $1 million for matching all five white balls (except in California) to the jackpot for matching all six balls. You can check all the prize payouts on the Powerball website here. You can play the game in 45 states plus the Washington DC, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The ticket was sold at a GasGo Market in Helotes, about a 275-mile drive southwest from Fort Worth, the Texas Lottery said. Another ticket sold in Texas matched four numbers drawn plus the Powerball to win $150,000 with the Power Play multiplier.
