According to Capital One, the disruption began on Wednesday and is due to a technical issue with one of its service providers. The outage has impacted the processing of some deposits, payments and transfers. Customers began reporting deposit-related issues -related issues on Thursday, according to Down Detector.

They came from New York and Washington, North Carolina and Southern California, New Jersey and Newcastle, and even Europe and China.
