The news was first shared by CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein, who reported that star guard Boogie Fland, a projected first-round pick in this year’s NBA Draft, “will miss the remainder of the 2024-25 season due to a hand injury.” His season comes to an end with numbers of 15.1 points, 5.7 assists, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks.
Fland sustained the hand injury against Florida on January 11. And while he was still able to play against LSU and Missouri, John Calipari just confirmed that he’ll miss the remainder of the year.
