DES MOINES, Iowa — The state of Iowa is facing a critical physician shortage. To combat the issue, Des Moines University and Drake University are teaming up once again to offer more Iowans access to medical education.

Engines were revving at the Iowa state fairgrounds Saturday for the Battle at the Barn races. About 4000 people from across the country and even international visitors participated in the fun.
