HAMILTON, Bermuda (AP) — HAMILTON, Bermuda (AP) — Everest Group, Ltd. (EG) on Monday reported a loss of $593 million in its fourth quarter. On a per-share basis, the Hamilton, Bermuda-based company said it had a loss of $13.96. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were $18.39 per share.

The health care real estate investment trust, based in Denver, posted revenue of $698 million in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $694.2 million. For the year, the company reported funds from operations of $1.25 billion. Revenue was reported as $2.7 billion.

AbbVie Inc. (ABBV) on Friday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $22 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
