While former GOP lawmaker Justin Eichorn is the most high-profile arrest, criminal charges have been filed against eight other men who are accused of attempting to solicit a minor for commercial sex after being arrested during a sting operation in Bloomington.

Republican Justin Eichorn, within hours of abandoning his seat in the Minnesota Senate, arrived in federal court Thursday afternoon on allegations that he solicited prostitution from a Bloomington police detective posing as a 17-year-old girl.

Formal charges were filed against Republican state Sen. Justin Eichorn (R- Grand Rapids). Eichorn was arrested in Bloomington Monday on suspicion of soliciting an underage girl for sex after arranging meeting with a detective posing as 17-year old.
