Columbus, Ohio – Ohio State star running back Quinshon Judkins, who scored three touchdowns in the national championship game, is leaving school early and entering the NFL draft.

"Judkins spent a lone season at Ohio State and left as a national champion, and his decision comes off a dazzling three-touchdown performance in Ohio State’s victory over Notre Dame," Thamel wrote. "Judkins ran for 100 yards on 11 carries and scored two rushing touchdowns and one receiving."

The Ohio State University Buckeyes are national champions after defeating Notre Dame 34-23 in the College Football Playoff national championship game on Monday night. It was the first college football championship game played under the new 12-team format implemented this season.
