A new set of leaked Pixel 9A renders appears to confirm months of rumors that Google is virtually ditching the camera bump this year. The images, published by Android Headlines, also show the phone in four colors — black (Obsidian), white (Porcelain), pink (Peony), and purple (Iris) — will look like.

Google Pixel fans who don’t wish to break the bank often look to the more affordable A series of Pixel smartphones. The successor model of this series, the Pixel 9a, hasn’t been released yet, but at this point nearly everything important about the handset has been leaked.

The Google Pixel 9a is launching in around a month, and we’ve just we’ve just got our first look at its official cases.

That said, this leak seems to confirm one apparent design change: the flush camera array. The cameras on the mainline Pixel 9s protrude a bit, which is reflected in the cases by a raised lip where the camera array sits. These Pixel 9a cases don't feature that lip, which confirms that Google has made the camera flush with the phone's body.

Other expected Pixel 9a specifications include the Tensor G4 chipset with 8GB memory, a 48MP primary camera with a 13MP ultra-wide lens, a 6.3-inch OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, etc. It should ship with Android 15 out-of-the-box, with loads of Gemini AI features.
