TROY, MI -- Police say there is no active threat to the community following a shooting that took place Thursday morning at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital. Initial reports suggested an active shooter situation was unfolding at the hospital, but police now say the alleged attack was a “targeted incident.”

A victim was in stable condition after being shot in the arm in Troy, Mich., and the police said the gunman was in custody. Both were hospital employees.
