Oklahoma's gymnastics team will go for its first-ever SEC conference road win against No. 10 Alabama one week after beating Missouri.

The University of Oklahoma's women's gymastics team reamins the No. 1 team in the nation after the Sprouts Collegiate Quad.

No. 1 Oklahoma (7-0) defeated No. 10 Missouri (5-2) in their 2024 home opener 197.775-196.750.

TUSCALOOSA, AL – In its first true road test of the season, the No. 1 Oklahoma women’s gymnastics team took down No. 10 Alabama, 197.550-196.300, Friday night inside Coleman Coliseum. The Sooners are now 8-0 on the year and 2-0 in SEC competition.

Oklahoma men’s gymnastics is the No. 1 team in the country after the first weekend of the season. The Sooners were shorthanded coming into their season opener against Air Force on Sunday, but still managed to post a nation’s-best 318.

On Friday the No. 10 Alabama Crimson Tide gymnastics team hosted the No. 1 Oklahoma Sooners. The meet ended with Alabama losing 197.55-196.3.  “We had some uncharacteristic mistakes,” head coach Ashley Johnston said of the team’s floor performance.
