Boxing legend George Foreman, "a force for good," has died, according to a statement from his family on Instagram Friday night. Foreman, 76, received many accolades from his work in the boxing ring, including being crowned heavyweight world champion twice and an Olympic gold medalist. Foreman went on to become a businessman after his boxing career.

Foreman told USA TODAY in 2023 that his "life is so much more than boxing," saying that he has "been knocked out more outside the ring than in the ring."

The Olympic gold medal-winning boxer was known for some of the sport's most iconic fights and a memorable comeback to reclaim his world title.
