Rs.100/- per person as far as I can remember - but worth it for nature lovers and for a quiet walk in the woods. Path can be slippery please ensure good footwear. Have a great holiday !!!

Agree with previous replies, rarely spotted in the wild and only in remote areas. Getting to Bumthang was a hairy enough journey, but travelling further north in the hope of an unlikely encounter will be even worse, and most likely a wasted trip. In the reserve you can get a better view and when we visited one came right up to the fence. Not pretty but seemed very sweet. Don't know if I'd like to meet a wild one up close though.
