Very good for families and also if you are curious about monkeys! The site is safe and well laid out with lots of staff. The monkey groups are normally in good humour and it does not feel threatening… Full review by Mark F

We are visiting in a little over a month. Went to purchase tickets and it says they are out of stock, for the next year! Is it day if purchases only? Or tour operators buy all the tickets? Or operator error :-)?

We walked in and bought the tickets - no need to do it in advance.
Hi. We have one big travel backpack and will go through the ubud, is there any safe place there to leave the bag free or for money while taking the walk?

Yes the monkeys can and often will jump on you. They climbed up on my boyfriends head and rode around for a while. There were a few children (under 5) while we were there and most were quite freaked out, a lot were crying. Personally I would STRONGLY discourage bringing the little ones!!
Hello everyone, I’m very interested in visiting here in the near future and being such I have a few questions, if you have time. In a general sense monkeys are wild animals and I would assume this means there can be some unpredictable behavior. Does anyone know if it would be suitable to visit for a person with poorly functioning motor neurons? This can effect my walking and even talking at times and I am worried the monkeys might respond adversely to something and maybe (not knowing that I am disabled obviously as they are wild) and perhaps injure me? Other than the above concern I am really looking forward to this adventure. Thank you
A:
My belief is that you will be fine as long as you don’t carry food or a water bottle. The other advice is don’t make direct eye contact.
