Excellent restaurants and shops to visit. We missed seeing the Stanley Hotel. See in the elk all over town was neat. We also walked a 4 mile trail around Lake Estes.Full review by Road48378650831

There is lots of free parking at the visitors center so it is a great place to start, otherwise it can be difficult to find parking right downtown. The river walk starts right across the street from the visitors center. There is a pedestrian tunnel that goes under the street.
