In answer to your question regarding being nude on the beach. We found going nude is not far but on the main town beach itself at Costa Calma especially towards the south end. The beach is mainly clothed and busy but for the brave you can strip off and sunbathe in a discreet manner. With the tide out we have seen people walking nude from Costa calma main beach south over the rocks and you can go for miles passing lovely sandy coves where you find quite a few people enjoying the freedom of being naked. We would do a walk from Costa Calma all the way to Sotavento beach and back, quite a hike very nice and can be done naked if you like. Along the way you do pass many others walking most of who are not naked but there is no restriction if you like to be without clothes. There is a lovely beach cafe, mind you need to put something on if you want to use it.
Are there any toilet facilities on Sotavento beach, there used to be a lovely beach cafe & toilet there but went today & it’s gone! Replaced by a windsurfing school, didn’t stay as could t find any facilities, such a shame.

There are no sun beds on Sotvento beach. There are lovely dunes where you can be comfortable without sun beds. We don’t use sun beds but on the beaches where they have them they are quite expensive from what I recall is around 13.50 euros for two sun beds and umbrella for the day
