Fabsies, I was very disappointed in the Vancouver Hard Rock. I’ve to to HRC all over the world and I must say it was my least favorite. They have been having labor disputes and you need to go past all the picketers just to get in. There is no shop....if you want a pin they will unlock a couple of folding doors with a minimal about of memorabilia for sale. The casino looked fine, but not our cup of tea. It was on our way into Vancouver so we stopped to grab a pin, but if we weren’t passing by I would not have made a trip from Vancouver to come here.

Is this anywhere near the centre of Vancouver?

It is in Coquitlam, which is a suburb city to Vancouver. Travelling by car it would take about 30 minutes or so to travel between the two.

This is first class building. It is not possible to build a public facility anywhere in Canada unless it is wheelchair accessible.
